2026–27
Academic Year Costs
Tuition and Fees: $66,308
Food and Housing: $13,803
Cost is important to families, and these numbers only tell part of the story. Most students do not pay the full listed price. Use our net price calculator to estimate what K might actually cost after scholarships and aid.
Understanding the full cost of college is an important part of your planning. You’ll want to consider both direct costs—like tuition and fees—and indirect costs—like books and transportation. Note: the link below shows starting figures before your scholarships and financial aid are applied.
What is Need-Based Aid?
Need-based aid is determined by your family’s financial circumstances. It helps bridge the gap between the cost of attendance and what your family can reasonably contribute.
To be considered for need-based aid, you will need to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) (ISFAA for international students). We encourage all families to file the FAFSA; need-based aid is available at more income levels than you might expect, and you won’t know until you apply.
What if my financial situation changes?
Our financial aid team works closely with current students who experience unexpected changes in their financial situation to help students and their families navigate the best road forward.
Additional Aid to Support Your K-Plan Experiences
Your financial aid package is one piece of a larger picture, and other funding opportunities may apply throughout your four years at K. Our Office of Grants, Fellowships and Research helps connect K students with scholarships and grants outside your annual financial aid to support individual research projects, internships or travel related to academic activities. These awards may come from internal or external sources. The College has an active and engaged alumni base that gives generously to ensure experiences like study abroad are available to K students, and staff across the College can help you identify resources that may support your goals.
